There is a series of conscious and unconscious mechanisms that impedes the fluent generation of new ideas. These may be:
- COGNITIVE: problems of perception that prevent the extrapolation of other situations or solutions
- EMOTIONAL: individual concerns, fears and insecurities that get in the way of creative freedom
- CULTURAL: rules and values which are transferred socially from generation to generation or which belong to the organizational culture itself
It is important to be aware of their existence so that creative capacity can be consciously uninhibited. It is essential, therefore, to create the proper relaxed atmosphere.
